Off-Grid Power Pro compares manufacturer-published specifications of portable power stations. The table on Compare is a reading aid: capacity, inverter rating, weight, solar input, and cycle-life claims placed on one row so the paper differences are visible.
This site does not lab-test units. It does not climate-test units. It does not publish independent runtime, solar-intake, or efficiency measurements. A figure that cannot be tied to a manufacturer product page or manual is left empty. Empty is not “TBD,” and it is not a guess.
Affiliate relationships (material connection)
Some product links on this site are paid advertising relationships. If a reader clicks one of those links and buys, Off-Grid Power Pro may earn a commission. That commission does not change the price paid.
The programs in use are Amazon Associates, ShareASale, and Lion Energy / LeadDyno. A commission is a material connection. It is a reason to read the spec row and the manufacturer page, not a reason to treat a button as a recommendation.
The short phrase “affiliate link” is not the disclosure. Named programs and the required Amazon Associates statement live on the Affiliate Disclosure page.
This site does not track Amazon prices and does not send Amazon price alerts. Amazon’s Associates program forbids price-tracking and price-alerting features unless Amazon agrees. Street prices used in the cost-per-Wh tool are typed by the reader.
How to read a row
Each catalog row is a set of published figures, not a score and not a ranking.

App and Expandable are yes/no only when the manufacturer publishes that the unit has a companion app or accepts official expansion batteries. If that is not stated on the sourced page, the cell stays empty.
$/Wh is not a published spec. It is street price ÷ Wh, and only after the reader types a current street price. This site does not fetch or scrape prices.
Cells without a source render as an em dash (—). They are not filled from memory, from a competing review, or from an older generation of the same name.
“Power Lifting” vs surge
These are not interchangeable labels.
Surge (also published as peak or starting watts) is a short-duration overload the manufacturer claims the inverter can support, typically for motor or compressor startup. How many milliseconds or seconds, and under what conditions, are defined by that manufacturer. This site does not convert surge into a continuous-watt rating.
Power Lifting (and similar brand names: boost, lifting, or extra-load modes) is a separate manufacturer feature. It is usually described as a way to run certain high-wattage resistive loads above the inverter’s rated continuous output, often by changing voltage or waveform. It is not the surge number, and it is not a lab-measured headroom figure.
If a manufacturer does not publish the mode, that fact is omitted. This site does not treat Power Lifting as equal to continuous watts or to surge, and it does not invent a wattage for either.
“Verified as of”
Every catalog row carries a verified date: the calendar day those figures were last checked against the manufacturer source used for that row.
Rules:
- The date is a check date, not a promise that the manufacturer page is unchanged afterward. Re-check the product page before buying.
- If a spec cannot be confirmed on that day, the cell is left empty. The date is not used to excuse a guessed number.
- Do not backdate. Do not write “updated” unless the row was actually re-checked.
- A newer generation, a recertified unit, or a URL that now lands on a different SKU is a different row — or no row — not an edit in place that keeps the old name.
The Compare table prints this date as “Verified as of …”. If rows were checked on different days, the table says so.
What this site will not do
- Invent watt-hours, inverter watts, weights, solar input, cycle counts, or prices.
- Claim “we tested this,” climate performance, or real-world runtime as a measured result.
- Rank a “#1” unit or assign a trusted-advisor score.
- Fill gaps from Amazon listings, forum posts, or another brand’s similarly named model.
- Build an Amazon price tracker or price alert.
The runtime estimator on Compare is labeled as a rough estimate: (Wh × 0.85) ÷ load watts. The 0.85 factor is an assumed inverter/path efficiency, not a lab result for any unit. Real runtime depends on temperature, inverter efficiency, and the load’s duty cycle.
